AI findability for agencies
Your clients want AI findability and you buy it in. The question is from whom, and what you keep hold of yourself.
What it usually gets called:AI findability, GEO, answer engine optimization, outsourcing
The question
What should an agency do about AI findability: build it or buy it?
That depends on what you want to own. AI findability is mostly measurement work: putting the same questions to the same platforms, every round again, and recording what came back with numerator, denominator and measuring date. It can be built, but it is a separate machine alongside the work you already do, with its own rhythm and its own yardstick. Whoever does not want to build it buys the measurement and keeps the client conversation.
In September 2026 we went through more than five hundred Dutch agencies with a traceable profile. Most of them do not offer AI findability themselves. That is not a shortcoming: it rarely sits in an existing service line, and up close it looks more like measuring than like marketing. What does already exist is the client question, and that reaches you, not the party running the measurement.

Where those names come from
For your craft the outcome of our own measuring round of 28 August 2026 is unusually direct. More than half of the sources feeding AI answers in this market came from agencies themselves: pages by marketing, SEO and AI agencies writing about their own trade. So the answer your client receives is written by parties in your market.

This breakdown comes from our own measuring round on the market for AI findability, not from a measurement in this sector. No per-industry breakdown exists; what it shows is how an AI answer gets assembled, not what comes out in your market.
How we measure it
One number, and what it consists of
We summarise the outcome in one number, the TAZM score: which share of its own search market a company owns, on a scale of 0 to 100. It is the average of four components, of which only the ones actually measured count, and every number carries its numerator, its denominator and its measuring date.
The limit
What we do not promise here
We do not promise you a place in an AI answer, not for you and not for your client. Nobody can guarantee that. And there is no worked-out form of collaboration ready today: no rates, no package, no terms. That is a decision still to be made, and we would rather leave it open here than invent it. What does exist is the measurement, and the willingness to talk about how it would fit with you.

The second layer: who builds what
Alongside the measurement sits the building work: the systems that carry an agency. Knowledge that does not stay with one person. Intakes that arrive prepared instead of starting from scratch every time. The groundwork around a delivery, done before anyone looks at it.
The division is the same as above. We build, you sell and you keep the client relationship. What exactly gets built and on what terms differs per case. No package is waiting and there is deliberately no rate here.
How we build is settled, and it can be read on our systems page: open source, on infrastructure registered in your name, with the data in Europe. That is the same stack our own company runs on, with the invoice alongside it.
Common questions
- Why is this not simply an extension of our SEO service?
- Because it has a different yardstick. SEO measures positions in a search engine; AI findability measures whether a model names your client in an answer, and that differs by day, by platform and by user. Measurements are therefore samples and are presented as such, with the measuring date and the model name alongside. It can be built next to an SEO practice, but it is not the same machine.
- What stays with us in the client relationship?
- The conversation. We measure and we build; you know the client, you translate the outcome into what needs to happen, and you hold that conversation. How exactly that division takes shape differs per case and is not settled yet, which is why there is no model with rates underneath this.
- Can you guarantee our client will appear in ChatGPT?
- No, and neither can anyone else. That is precisely the question the measurement is about. What we record is which questions were asked, to which platforms, on which date, and what actually came back, including when it disappoints. Promises about measurement, not about results.

Thirty minutes. No package and no rate card: first the question of whether this fits together, and how the measurement would land with you.
