Financial adviser findable in ChatGPT
Your client puts their money question to a chatbot first. They still want to speak to an adviser afterwards, just not necessarily you.

What it usually gets called:Findable in AI, named in ChatGPT, AI visibility, GEO
Concrete
Someone asking which financial adviser could help with their mortgage or pension, and getting a handful of names back that do not include yours
The profession has been talking about replacement for two years. Research by Trustoo, published in InFinance on 6 November 2025: 39 per cent put a money question to a chatbot, and 73 per cent would rather speak to an adviser. That second number is the good news. The first one is the work, because these days the orientation starts at the chatbot, including for the people who want a human afterwards.
The worry in this profession is about something other than being found, and rightly so. The Adfiz handbook of 15 July 2026 puts the high-risk obligations at the end of 2027, and InterAI wrote on 26 April 2026 that a DPIA is mandatory. Our measurement does not touch that side: it runs on public sources, your site, your profiles and what AI systems say about you. No client file goes through it, and no system is added that you have to account for.
What we do instead is measure whether an AI system names you when somebody asks for a financial adviser, and what it comes down to. The same questions, the same platforms, the same measuring date, every round again. We do not promise you a place in that answer, because it cannot be bought and nobody can guarantee it; we publish a disappointing outcome just as readily as a good one. So the first step is a measurement and not a conversation: the DataDrift Deltascan records where you stand today, and measures again after 90 days.
Where your profession is already listed
- Adfiz
- The trade body for independent financial advisers in the Netherlands. Your member profile and the publications around it sit outside your own site.
- AFM register
- The public register of the Dutch regulator, with your licence alongside. A listing you do not control yourself, and one that does not move when your site does.
- Comparison sites and choice guides
- Sites that line advisers up side by side. What they say about you is not written by you, and it is there whether you take part or not.
- Kifid
- The Dutch complaints institute for financial services. On its site a consumer can check whether a financial service provider is affiliated; you do not manage that listing yourself.
Common questions
- Does any client data go through this measurement?
- No. The measurement looks at public sources: your website, your profiles on registers and comparison sites, and what AI systems say back to a fixed list of questions. No file is read in, no client database is connected and no system is installed in your office.
- Can you guarantee that we will appear in ChatGPT?
- No, and neither can anyone else. What we do record is the measurement: which questions, which platforms, which measuring date, and what actually came back. That list of questions is settled before the first measurement and is not narrowed afterwards, so a repeat measurement can be compared with the first.
